Obituary for a phone phreaker

Phone phreakers fascinate me for two reasons: first, my basic understanding of phone technology and the fact that these people were able to poke holes in it; and second, because they worked their craft without the benefit of the internet to share common hacking knowledge. They were the original hackers, those who love to explore and occasionally exploit systems just because they were there.
